Cargo Handling
Our well-trained team handles various types of cargo, including bulk, break bulk, or palletized, with a focus on safety. This involves managing, supervising, and handling cargo, preparing vessels for unloading, ensuring the availability of personnel and equipment, storing goods, and transporting cargo to its final destination on the island.
Stevedoring
FTM stevedores receive job-related training to handle various types of cargo on board the vessel and on the dock. We manage, supervise, and transport cargo to its final destination.
Arrastre
FTM provides quayside handling operations, including loading, unloading, checking, sorting, delivering, receiving, securing, and supplying mechanical equipment for cargo handling. This involves unloading and loading cargo to and from ships, checking cargo marks and quantity, sorting and piling cargo, delivering and receiving cargo, securing it from pilferage, and providing mechanical equipment for cargo handling.
Maritime Draft Surveying
FTM performs draft surveys to accurately determine the amount of cargo loaded or discharged from a vessel. Our experienced team measures the initial and final weight of the ship, accounting for all weights taken out, to provide accurate calculations of the cargo loaded. Our surveys are critical for safe and efficient cargo handling, and are essential for effective port operations.
Tallying
We conduct thorough cargo tallying and supervision during loading and unloading operations to ensure that the quantity of cargo is accurately documented. Our experienced team provides daily reports with quantitative data and detailed descriptions of the cargo, and upon completion of the operation, we issue final tally sheets and reports.
Bagging
We also offer bagging services for bulk cargoes including fertilizer, flour, and pollard, using quayside bagging equipment. Our experienced stevedores undergo job-related training to ensure that they are well-equipped to handle all aspects of vessel work, including the loading of bulk cargo from the vessel to the hopper or container, emptying of sacks/bags, weighing, and sewing of sacks.
Silo Cleaning
Our team is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for the proper cleaning and maintenance of silos, bins, hoppers, bunkers, chutes, stacks, industrial chimneys, pipes, and tanks. We provide comprehensive cleaning services that clear build-up and blockages to ensure efficient and safe operation of your equipment.
