Economic growth recorded in all Philippine regions

The Philippine Statistics Authority made a press release stating that Philippine economy has reported growth in 2021 from the 2020 pandemic disruptions. All 17 regions and their economies have recovered from the pandemic, recording positive growths in 2021 in which CALABRZON posted the fastest growth at 7.6 percent. Other regions’ growth rate are:

Bangsamaro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) - 7.5 percent

Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) - 7.5 percent

Central Luzon - 7.4 percent

Caraga - 7.2%

Northern Mindanao - 6.3 percent

Eastern Visaya - 6.0 percent

Western Visayan - 5.9 percent

Davao Region - 5.9 percent

Zamboanga Peninsula - 5.7 percent

Central Visayas - 5.4 percent

SOCCSKARGEN - 5.2 percent

Cagayan Valley - 5.1 percent

Ilocos Region - 4.6 percent

National Capital Region - 4.4 percent

Bicol Region - 4.3 percent
